Privacy policy

• Account data — your email address and account identifier when you sign up.
• Listing data — startup name, tagline, description, website URL, logo URL and category you submit.
• Support data — amounts, optional public messages, board selection and timestamps.
• Payout data — payout details you voluntarily provide as a founder.
• Technical data — basic log and device information needed to operate and secure the site.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. Card and banking details are entered on their checkout and are never stored on Perkly servers. We retain only the payment reference, amount, status and time so we can rank listings and calculate founder payouts.

• Operate the leaderboard and display public listings and support activity.
• Process listing fees and supporter payments, and settle monthly founder payouts.
• Send essential service messages relating to your account, listing or payout.
• Prevent fraud, abuse and payment disputes.

Listings, ranks, support amounts, supporter display names and any message you attach to a support are public. Email addresses and payout details are never shown publicly.

We share data only with the providers that make Perkly work — our hosting and database provider and our payment processor — or where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

We keep account, listing and transaction records for as long as your account exists and for as long as required for accounting and legal obligations. Access is restricted by row-level security rules and administrative controls.

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data. Public support records tied to completed payments may be retained in anonymised form for accounting integrity.
